Steve Waugh
Steve Waugh entered the cauldron of Test cricket as a raw 20 year old during the difficult years of Australia cricket in the mid 1980's. As a key member of Alan Border's and Mark Taylor's teams, Steve Waugh was instrumental in the rebuilding of Australian cricket after the retirements of Greg Chappell, Dennis Lillie and Rod Marsh and the disruptive Rebel Tours of South Africa.
Steve Waugh captained the Australian team from 1999 to 2004. His uncompromising style of play lead his team to world dominance.
Steve Waugh was named Australian of the Year in 2004 and is a much sort after motivational speaker. Steve Waugh memorabilia is in high demand and a must for serious cricket collectors.
